Dr Jason A. Sifrit


Jason Sifrit, OD, FAAO, is a highly trained, friendly doctor at Cascade Vision Center in Renton, Washington. Dr. Sifrit is eager to learn about his patients’ occupations and hobbies, and how Cascade Vision Center can help them achieve clear and comfortable vision. He believes getting to know his patients allows him to provide the best-individualized care.

Dr. Sifrit underwent vigorous training at the Illinois College of Optometry, which is consistently ranked as a top optometry program in the United States. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Sifrit completed a rigorous residency program with an emphasis on treating ocular disease. He’s practiced in a variety of clinical modalities, including private practice, tertiary care centers, and hospital-based eye care in Alaska, Illinois, Georgia, and New York.

Active in the national optometry community through teaching, clinical research, and practice, Dr. Sifrit was recently a faculty member at the University of Florida Department of Ophthalmology, where he became a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO), specializing in ocular disease management. He also has contributed to academic research by participating in clinical studies and has published multiple papers.

Dr. Sifrit stays up to date on cutting-edge advancements in the field by regularly attending nationally recognized meetings around the country. He’s a member of several prestigious organizations, such as the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, King County Optometric Society, and Optometric Physicians of Washington.

Passionate about community service, Dr. Sifrit participates in local outreach activities that promote access to eye care. These experiences, along with a humanitarian mission to Nicaragua, have provided an opportunity to treat a vast array of eye conditions.

Outside of work, Dr. Sifrit likes to spend time with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and golfing.
