Dr. Bryan Cholico
Optometrist
Dr. Cholico joined Cascade Vision Center in 2020. He is a friendly and attentive doctor who believes in improving his patients’ quality of life by serving their visual needs.
Born and raised in Northern Nevada, he then left for Oregon to attend Pacific University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees. His training encompasses a variety of settings where he provided care to patients at an Air Force base, an Indian Health Services facility in Alaska and a Veterans Affairs hospital. During optometry school, he frequently volunteered his time participating in local service projects and international mission trips providing eye care to underserved populations.
Dr. Cholico specializes in fitting specialty contact lenses on a myriad of patients who have corneal diseases and cannot achieve clear vision with regular glasses alone. Specialty contact lenses can help patients with keratoconus, those who have extensive scarring or protrusion of the cornea, extremely high myopia (nearsightedness), various hereditary corneal diseases, severe dry eye, or patients that wish to slow down the progression of their myopia. Dr. Cholico is also bilingual - he is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Cholico is passionate about the outdoors. He loves hiking, camping and photography to capture all the beautiful places he visits. When he’s not out exploring the mountains, you might find him playing sports with his friends.
